Husky Energy is currently constructing a 130 million litre per year ethanol plant adjacent to its Heavy Oil Upgrader in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Husky’s Lloydminster Ethanol Plant will be the largest ethanol plant in Western Canada when it becomes fully operational in early 2006.

Husky Energy is pleased to announce that, effective June 1, 2005, Wilbur Ellis Company will act as its DDGS marketing agent, overseeing the sale and distribution of 134,000 tonnes per year of distillers dried grain with soluble (DDGS). DDGS is a non-animal based, high-grade protein feed supplement that is produced from the processed grain feedstock.
