Oat hay is available from our El Centro location, in compressed and uncompressed bales, as well as
cubes, pellets and blends.
Oat Hay Facts
- Planting is in October and November.
- Irrigation occurs three to five times per season.
- Oat hay is harvested in March or April with only one cutting. Yield is three to four tons per acre.
- Curing is complete seven to ten days after cutting.
