Cremona Hay Facility

The Cremona facility was built to augment the Lethbridge facility's capacity, and to service this highly productive northern Alberta district. The facility consists of a 2,000 tonne facility with 8 store sheds, including a new hay shed and compressing machine added in 2003.

With lots of timothy hay growing in that area, Wilbur-Ellis sought to enhance service to growers in that area. The Cremona plant means Wilbur-Ellis can buy and remove a producer's crop immediately, achieving the high grades and returns producers want and end users expect.
